The Essex OpenSquash57 Doubles Championships 2026 were held at The Woodford Wells Club on Sunday 22 March. Entries were consolidated into an opening pool phase that fed into a monrad-format ‘Open A and a pool-format ‘Open B’.
Results:
- Open B: a very close event and once the scores had been verified, Graham Appleby (Maidstone) and Mark Banfield (Bewi) were confirmed as winners with Woodford Wells’ David Morse & Simon Shipgood runners-up, just a single point behind
- Open A: was equally competitive with many matches going the distance. The standout winners were Broxbourne’s Amber Marshall & Ted Jeal with Woodford Wells’ Zoe Fennell & Patrick Osborn runners up.
